Nathan Hinton*


Nathan Hinton* (Alemu) is delighted to be making his first appearance with Arkansas Rep. A member of the first national touring company of Angels in America, Nathan’s most recent work consists of Zachariah in Blood Knot with Mosaic Theater Company, Friar Laurence in Romeo & Juliet with Shakespeare Theatre Company, Mitch in A Streetcar Named Desire with Virginia Stage Company and Mo in the New York premiere of Dan Hoyle’s The Block off-broadway with The Working Theater. Other New York credits include the premiere of Robert O’Hara’s Insurrection: Holding History and The Tempest, both at The Public Theater, Living in the Wind at American Place Theatre, A Fair Country at Lincoln Center Theater, and the premiere of Keith Josef Adkin’s PITBULLS at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater. His considerable regional theater credits include Twelfth Night, Pentecost, Take Me Out, The Piano Lesson, Nomathemba and A Raisin in the Sun at theaters comprised of Yale Repertory Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Dallas Theater Center, Huntington Theatre Company, Great Lakes Theater Festival and Delaware Theatre Company. Television credits include “Madam Secretary,” “The Good Wife,” “Elementary,” “One Life to Live,” and “All My Children.” Nathan is a member of The Actors Center and a graduate of both SMU and the Yale School of Drama.
