For the movie lover and the theatre fan, The Rep is partnering with Laman Library for a brand new series of free monthly movie screenings! Join us for a discussion about The Rep's upcoming production
Next to Normal. This month you'll hear from Next to Normal Director and Resident Director and Director of Education, Nicole Capri and Erick Messias, M.D., Ph.D., an associate professor in the UAMS Department of Psychiatry, Betty Everett, Ph.D., an assistant professor in the UAMS Department of Psychiatry, Kevin Navin, LCSW, program manager of PRI’s Child Study Center as they discuss the upcoming Arkansas Rep production Next to Normal and its powerful story about a dysfunctional family trying to take care of themselves and each other.

Reel Classics With The Rep runs the second Monday of every month at Laman Library, 2801 Orange in North Little Rock and is free to the public.


NonProfit Preview Night: Wolf Street Foundation

The Wolfe Street Foundation has purchased a “Night at The Rep” and will host a NonProfit Preview Night on Tuesday, May 1. Proceeds will benefit the Wolf Street Foundation. Pay What You Can Night 

Wednesday, May 2 | 7 p.m.
Arkansas Repertory Theatre, 601 Main Street, Little Rock

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette presents The Rep’s “Pay What You Can Night” on Wed., May 2, 2012. Patrons can pay any amount they wish for their ticket. Tickets must be purchased in person at the Box Office at 601 Main Street the day of the performance. The Box Office will be open from 9 a.m. until curtain. Tickets are limited to (2) two per person. Offer is based on seating availability.

A preshow talk will take place on the set of Next to Normal with Rep Producing Artistic Director Bob Hupp and Next to Normal director Nicole Capri from 6:15 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. during previews.

Opening Night for Next to Normal will include a post-show reception with the cast immediately following the show. Complimentary champagne and light hors d'oeuvres will be provided.

Chenal Family Therapy has purchased a “Night at The Rep” and will host a MainStage Sponsor Night on Tuesday, May 8. A portion of the ticket sales for this performance will benefit a number of local non-profit ministries in the Little Rock area. Prior to the show, Chenal Family Therapy will host a panel discussion in Foster’s on the overlap of faith and psychology, featuring prominent local therapists, ministers and professors.
