Description: Arkansas Repertory Theatre (LORT D) is seeking AEA and non-AEA actors for their upcoming production of Peter Morgan’s “Frost/Nixon,” directed by Gilbert McCauley.
All roles are paid.
Seeking the following:
Richard Nixon: (Late 50’s-Early 60’s) 37th President of the United States. Shrewd and calculating, sees an opportunity to restore his legacy with the Frost interviews.
David Frost: (Late 30’s- Early 40’s) British television personality and host (accent required). Smart, suave, superficial
Jim Reston: (Late 30’s-Early 40’s) Novelist and journalist. Aggressive, liberal, intellectual. Acts as the play’s narrator.
Jack Brennan: (30’s-40’s) Staunch, buttoned up, conservative, military advisor. Nixon’s post-resignation Chief of Staff.
Evonne Goolagong: (20’s) – Australian tennis champion.
John Birt: (mid-late 30’s) – British Television Producer. (accent required)
Manolo Sanchez: (40’s-50’s) – Nixon’s valet. Hispanic. Loyal to Nixon
Swifty Lazar: (Late 60’s-Early 70’s) – Aggressive, self-serving, old school Hollywood agent.
Caroline Cushing: (30’s) – Journalist. Intelligent, sexy, confident. British accent required.
Bob Zelnick: (40’s) – Journalist/Reporter. Gentle, likeable, principled-erudite.
