On Jan. 31, 2015 Arkansas art aficionados will come together to celebrate the state’s largest non-profit professional theatre company, Arkansas Repertory Theatre. National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Chairman Jane Chu announced this week that Arkansas Repertory Theatre is one of 919 nonprofit organizations nationwide and one of two Little Rock arts organizations to receive an NEA Art Works grant. The Rep is recommended for a $10,000 grant to support the production of Matthew Lopez’s The Whipping Man and to collaborate with community partners on related audience engagement activities.
