Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  What are Standing Room Only tickets?
A:  The Rep sells discounted Standing Room Only, or SRO, tickets to soldout performances during the hour prior to the performance. Although every effort is made to seat patrons with SRO tickets, seating is not guaranteed.

Q:  Where may I park?
A:  There is no charge for metered parking area along Main Street due to performance times.

The Best parking lot directly across the street at 6th and Main Streets is available for a small fee.

The Central/Allright parking garage directly behind the theatre at 6th and Scott Streets is available for a small fee. A walkway to The Rep is on the second level of the parking garage.

Q:  May I reserve tickets?
A:  The Rep cannot hold a seat without purchase. To purchase a ticket, contact the box office at 501-378-0405, visit the box office, at 601 Main Street, during normal business hours or buy tickets online at www.therep.org.

Q:  What time should I arrive?
A:  The Rep recommends arriving 30 minutes prior to curtain time to pick up your tickets, browse through the art galleries and find your seat.

Q:  What if I'm late to a performance?
A:  The house manager reserves the right to release any unoccupied seat five minutes prior to curtain and to seat latecomers during an appropriate break in the performance and in a location which will be the least disruptive to other patrons.

Q:  Is there a recommended form of dress?
A:  The Rep would like patrons to be comfortable during their visits. Most patrons dress in business attire.

Q:  May I exchange tickets for another show or different seats?
A:  You may exchange tickets for another performance time or seat of the same production at least 24 hours prior to curtain time. Patrons may exchange tickets by contacting the box office at least 24 hours prior to performance.

Ticket exchanges are $10 for non-subscribers. Subscribers may exchange tickets once per event at no charge; subsequent exchanges for the same event are $6 per ticket. Please note: Director’s Preview Series (First Thursdays) exchanges incur a $10 per ticket upgrade fee if you must exchange to another performance. Ticket exchanges are free for VIP All-Event Flex-Pass holders.

Seating assignments are not guaranteed when exchanging. Every effort will be made to book seats as close to the original seats as possible.

Exchanges into a more expensive seating area require a payment of the difference in ticket costs.

Q:  Are there any service fees on ticket purchases?
A:  The Rep charges a $1 handling fee to mail tickets to patrons' homes. You may request your tickets to be placed at Will Call for any performance. Will call tickets are available at the box office one hour prior to curtain time.

Q:  What is "Will Call"?
A:  The Rep can file tickets, under purchasers' names, that are made available for pick up one hour prior to curtain time at the designated Will Call ticket window. This is also the designated ticket window for patrons who have exchanged tickets.

Q:  What days do you have performances?
A:  The Rep offers performances at Wednesdays through Sundays for most productions. Please check the online event calendar for specific performance dates and times.

Q:  What if I am unable to use my tickets?
A:  There are no returns on purchased tickets. Unused tickets may be given to other patrons or donate them for resale in person prior to the performance time in exchange for a full tax deduction.

Q:  May I bring children to The Rep?
A:  The Rep offers programming for all ages. Please check with the box office to determine if a production's content is suitable for your child, and consider your child's ability to remain attentive for hour-long intervals.
