The Rep Adds Saturday Memphis Matinee
Due to popular demand, Arkansas Repertory Theatre has added an additional performance on Saturday, Sept. 27 to its four-week run of Tony Award-winning musical Memphis. Touted as “Ladies Day Out,” the matinee will offer special perks to ticketholders for the performance.
The Rep to Host Local Auditions for Elf

LOCAL LAWYER’S GRIDIRON SHOW RETURNS TO THE REP
The Arkansas Repertory Theatre is thrilled to announce that more than 75 lawyers and law professionals will once again take The Rep stage with their production of Gridiron. After a four-year hiatus, the lawyers bring back their biannual musical production spoofing Arkansas people and politics. Its first show will premiere at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13 with a special offering of light bites and complimentary beer and wine. Four shows will follow on Thursday (8 p.m.), Friday (7 p.m. and 9 p.m.) and Saturday (8 p.m.).
“Gridiron is a special thing,” said Dent Gitchell, a 40-year veteran of the show and the show’s historical archivist. “It's not just a hoot to watch, it's an opportunity for lawyers, young and not-so-young - judges, paralegals, and other legal professionals - to get to know each other outside the courtroom, share a common experience, and have a lot of fun.”
ARKANSAS REP ANNOUNCES 2014-2015 SEASON
Arkansas Repertory Theatre (The Rep), the state’s largest nonprofit professional theatre, is proud to announce its 39th MainStage Season.
“The stories we’ll tell speak to the power of live theatre,” says Robert Hupp, Producing Artistic Director at Arkansas Repertory Theatre. “It’s a season of entertainment, for sure, but it’s also a season of firsts for The Rep and our audience: The new season features engaging plays and musicals, many brought to life for the very first time in our state, all created in our intimate home on Main Street. Three popular and crowd pleasing, over the top musicals complement three amazing plays that embody the best our art form.”
Clinton School to Host Clybourne Park Panel
Arkansas Repertory Theatre producing artistic director, Bob Hupp, will host a panel discussion on the upcoming production of “Clybourne Park,” winner of the 2011 Pulitzer Prize and 2011 Tony Award for Best Play.

Rep Young Artists Celebrate Holiday with ASO
The Rep's Young Artist Program (SMTI) will partner with The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra for their 2013 holiday show, Holiday Fantasies. This holiday collaboration is conducted by Phillip Mann and Written and Directed by The Rep's Resident Director and Director of Education Nicole Capri.
