At the request of Cliff Baker’s husband, Guy Couch, The Rep has established the Cliff Fannin Baker Artistic Director’s Fund. 

Arkansas Repertory Theatre officials will formally announce a 2019 Mainstage season at a special reveal party scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on November 13 at the theatre in downtown Little Rock.

The season reveal party will serve a dual purpose as a reminder of the theatre’s ongoing capital campaign.


(Little Rock, Ark., Sept. 6, 2018) – Arkansas Repertory Theatre board chair Ruth Shepherd confirms that Arkansas Rep founder Cliff Fannin Baker died this morning.

Arkansas Repertory Theatre has announced its 2018-2019 slate of officers and named seven new members to the board of directors of the state’s largest, nonprofit professional theatre.


Two months since the Arkansas Repertory Theatre announced it would suspend productions due to significant cash flow issues, fiscal year end reports show significant progress being made in efforts to save the state’s largest nonprofit, professional theatre.
