NEXT YOUNG ARTIST AUDITION: BYE BYE BIRDIE
The Rep announces youth auditions for its summer 2020 musical production of Bye Bye Birdie, book by Michael Stewart, lyrics by Lee Adams, music by Charles Strouse, directed and choreographed by David Bell.
The Rep seeks a diverse company of local young performers to portray a high-school aged YOUNG ENSEMBLE and 10-year-old RANDOLPH.
Auditions will be held by appointment only on Jan. 8th and Jan. 9th, between 4:30 PM – 9:00 PM at The Rep’s Annex. Callbacks are by invitation only on Jan. 12th.

The preliminary production calendar is as follows:
- Meet and Greet with Young Ensemble | Feb 1
- Young Ensemble Workshop | Feb 2
- Weekly Training | Jan 27 – April 27 (Mondays, 7-9 PM)
- Rehearsals (daytime) | June 9 – July 2
- Tech (day times and evenings) | July 3 – July 5
- Performances (weeknights and weekends) | July 7 – Aug 9 (possible extension to Aug 16)

The Arkansas Rep regularly holds auditions in Little Rock throughout the year. Auditions are announced here on our website as well as in local newspapers, and on our Facebook page. The Arkansas Rep announces our New York City auditions on www.actorsequity.org , Backstage Magazine www.backstage.com and www.actorsaccess.com. Generally, we hold auditions on a show by show basis, and these auditions are by appointment only.
