School & Community Programs
The Rep’s Education Department is excited and passionate about sharing the benefits of theatre education with the students of Arkansas. Our professional staff of teaching artists are available for on-site and off-site, long and short-term workshops with nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and schools.
As roster artists with the Arkansas Arts Council, we are also happy to help you submit an application so that 60% of your workshop fees will be reimbursed.

The HEARD Project
In 2020, The Rep launched an all-new arts outreach initiative elevating the voices of teens in Central Arkansas. The HEARD Project assembles a talented team of professional local teaching artists to lead poetry and storytelling workshops at community programs throughout Little Rock and North Little Rock. Current partners include North Little Rock Works at North Little Rock High School, Brandon House at McClellan High School, Children’s International at UALR, and Center for Youth and Families. Participating teens will develop original work to be shared in powerful final performances.
