This is not your typical summer at The Rep!

We’re taking the show outdoors and presenting two full productions and one special event in three unique, outdoor spaces – accommodating social distancing and maximizing fun!

JULY 13 – AUG 1

“The Rep Revival Tent”

Marie & Rosetta

Written by George Brant
Directed by Steve H. Broadnax III

Born in Cotton Plant, Arkansas, Sister Rosetta Tharpe’s bluesy, swinging guitar and vocals made her a national sensation and changed the world of gospel music forever. Join her as she meets a young protege for their first rehearsal together, sharing stories of life and faith, as well as some unforgettable music.

This production is sponsored by Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield and Southwest Power Pool.

IMPORTANT: Due to the projected heat index for July 28th – August 1st, the remaining performances of Marie & Rosetta will take place on The Rep’s mainstage.

AUG 10 – AUG 29

“The Civitan Pavilion”

Little Rock Zoo

World Premiere
Written by Jennifer Vanderbes
Directed by Ari Edelson

When an old flame unexpectedly arrives at his East African research camp, famed primatologist (and self-proclaimed alpha male) Desmond Hawkes has no idea just how much his world is about to change. When it comes to love, the curious behavior of humans can only be matched by the chimpanzees in the surrounding forest.

SUNDAY, OCT 3RD
