Workshops with guest artists and special events through the Education Department help deepen learning and community connections. Using the professional productions, actors, and technicians as resources for learning, The Rep offers year-round workshops for students of all ages.

A Cappella Singing Workshop with Yale University's Redhot & Blue

Learn about a cappella singing from the vocalists of Redhot & Blue, Yale’s oldest coed a cappella group. Practice building harmonies, blending as an ensemble, and adding stylized flourishes through interactive singing exercises. After the workshop, grab a quick bite to eat downtown and head back to The Rep to enjoy a Redhot & Blue performance in the Annex Black Box!

Date:      Monday, January 8th 

Time:      Workshop from 5:00 - 5:45 p.m. 

               Concert at 7:00 p.m. 

Grade:    6th-12th 

Tuition:   $5 


Class size is limited and first come, first served. No refunds. A few days before the workshop, students will receive a welcome email detailing workshop specifics.  


Check in begins 15 minutes before the workshop. All students must fill out a liability form, available at the time of drop off and prior to the workshop via email. Pick up ends at 6 p.m. Students who choose to attend the concert at 7 p.m. will not be supervised by The Rep faculty after 6 p.m. The concert admission is a separate suggested donation that can be made the night of the 8th. Seating for the concert is general admission.
